SMS Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: April 19, 2026  ·  Last Updated: April 19, 2026

These SMS Terms & Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern your receipt of text messages from Private Living Principles, ("Private Living Principles," "we," "us," or "our"). These SMS Terms supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Private Living Principles.

1. Program Description

Private Living Principles operates an SMS messaging program to communicate with customers, prospects, and program participants. By opting in, you agree to receive text messages from us on the mobile phone number you provide.

There are two categories of messages we may send:

  • Transactional / Informational messages — including appointment reminders, enrollment confirmations, course notifications, customer care responses, and follow-ups to inquiries you submit
  • Marketing / Promotional messages — including announcements of new courses, promotional offers, educational newsletters, and event invitations (requires separate opt-in)

2. How to Opt In

You can opt in to receive SMS messages from us in the following ways:

  • By submitting your mobile phone number through our website chat widget and checking the SMS consent box
  • By submitting your mobile phone number through an enrollment or contact form and checking the SMS consent box
  • By providing your mobile number and affirmative consent during a coaching session, event, or direct conversation with our team

We collect separate, explicit opt-in for transactional and marketing messages. Opt-in is always affirmative (you must actively check a box or otherwise indicate consent). We do not use pre-checked boxes.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on the nature of your relationship with us and the categories of messages you have opted into. You will not receive more messages than you have consented to receive. Typical frequency ranges from occasional transactional messages (as needed) to a few marketing messages per month.

4. Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply to any SMS messages you send or receive. These rates are set by your mobile carrier, not by Private Living Principles. Please consult your mobile carrier for details on your plan's messaging rates.

5. Supported Carriers

Our SMS program supports all major US mobile carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Keyword Commands

You can control your SMS experience using the following keywords. Reply to any message we send with one of these keywords to receive the described response:

Keyword Action
STOP Unsubscribe from all SMS messages. You will receive a final confirmation message.
HELP Receive a message with our contact information and support details.
UNSUBSCRIBE Same as STOP — unsubscribe from all SMS messages.
CANCEL Same as STOP — unsubscribe from all SMS messages.
END Same as STOP — unsubscribe from all SMS messages.
QUIT Same as STOP — unsubscribe from all SMS messages.

7. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of our SMS program at any time by:

  • Replying STOP (or any of the keywords above) to any message we send
  • Emailing [email protected] with your mobile number and a request to be unsubscribed
  • After you opt out, you will receive one final confirmation message. You will not receive any further SMS messages from us unless you opt back in.

    8. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Information collected through the SMS program is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is only shared with subprocessors that help us deliver the SMS messaging service itself, and only for that limited purpose.

    9. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide to enroll in our SMS program. By opting in, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

    10. Not for Emergencies or Legal Advice

The SMS program is not monitored 24/7 and should not be used for emergencies. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services.

Additionally, Private Living Principles is not a law firm. SMS messages from us are educational and informational only. Do not use SMS to seek legal advice for your specific situation; if you need legal advice, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

    11. Changes to the Program

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the SMS program at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. We may also update these SMS Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the revised SMS Terms on our website and update the "Last Updated" date.
